Kolonwel’s commercial dealings with the private sector, from 1988-1997, involved trading of STPP chemicals for the needs of multinational corporation, like Procter and Gamble, Unilever, and Colgate, Palmolive and importation of raw materials from Europe, mainly from Austria, for commercial purposes.
Recently, Kolonwel has made its way into the government needs for protective equipment, vehicles and heavy equipment. In February 2015, it was awarded by the Philippine Bureau of Fire Protection the biggest contract in Asia for the procurement of fire trucks worth USD 57 Million.
Kolonwel is confident for a brighter prospect in its current projects involving like helicopters and seaplanes, for the Philippine National Police and Department of National Defense.
